South Africa’s net foreign reserves rise to $69.364 billion in October

JOHANNESBURG, Nov 7 (Reuters) – South Africa’s net foreign reserves rose to $69.364 billion at the end of October from $67.865 billion in September, central bank data showed on Friday.
Gross reserves increased to $71.550 billion in October from $69.739 billion in the prior month.
The forward position, which represents the central bank’s unsettled or swap transactions, fell to $0.602 billion from $1.178 billion.
