SBA Communications Advances Investment Dialogue as One of the Founding Members of the ATU-TowerCo Forum

SBA Communications is among the founding members of the African Telecommunications Union (ATU) TowerCo Forum, a new continental initiative focused on fostering the policy, regulatory and investment environment needed to accelerate digital infrastructure development across Africa. Alongside fellow founding members, American Tower and Helios Towers, SBA has signed the Forum Charter and will contribute to shaping the Forum's strategic priorities and advocacy agenda.

The Forum brings together telecommunications infrastructure providers, governments, regulators, mobile network operators, development partners and other stakeholders to address barriers to infrastructure investment for meaningful connectivity. Key areas of focus include enabling regulatory frameworks, infrastructure sharing, infrastructure security, and policies that support faster and more cost-effective network deployment.

Through the Forum, SBA looks forward to contributing to constructive policy dialogue and sharing industry best practices that support long-term investment, expand connectivity, and advance Africa's digital transformation. SBA also acknowledges the leadership of the ATU Secretariat and its partners in establishing this important initiative.
